Melissa Hancock appeared on two Season 2 episodes of Little Women: Atlanta.
Melissa Ann Hancock was born in 1992. She is a model. Melissa is friends with former Little Women: Atlanta cast member Bri Barlup.
On November 4, 2017, Hancock was arrested and charged with DUI in a deadly car crash that that killed Daniel Dill, a 29-year old Coast Guard petty officer. Dill passed away a day after the crash from severe blunt force torso and neck trauma. Melissa consumed four mixed drinks 1 hour before driving, and two hours later, her blood alcohol content was 0.112. While under the influence, Melissa drove onto a one-way road which connects to Interstate 264. She was also driving 55 to 60 mph before the crash took place.
Melissa was required to wear an alcohol-tracking GPS device, and was provided with a $15,000 bond at a court hearing--but it was revoked in December 2017. Hancock was also injured in the collision--she suffered three fractures in her back. She underwent three surgeries and also required 24-hour care due to her injuries.
On May 23, 2018, Hancock pleaded guilty to aggravated DUI manslaughter. She will have to serve one year in jail, pay a fine of $2,500, and could face up to 21 years in prison. Her sentence is set for October 10, 2018. She appeared in court in June 2018 for a DUI charge related to her case.
In October 2018 Melissa was ordered to serve 16 years in prison for aggravated involuntary manslaughter and DUI. She was also fined $3000.
